‘Do you have any?’

Max frowned, ‘What about morphine? Don’t the soldiers have any?’

‘Oli’s gone to see Butler to ask.’

‘What are we going to do if we can’t get anything?’

Peg rubbed her eyes, ‘Strap her down so she can’t move and hope she passes out from the first cut.’
