England Trip

Hello,

We just got back from a trip back to the Motherland (England) where we acquired some reading material, both fun and research based:

We shoved a crazy amount of delicious food into our cavernous maws:

Sunday lunch, heavy on the Yorkshire puddings.

And when not eating or buying books we also bought a huge scarf for me:

All in all a fantastic trip that was over too soon.

    • Yeah the meat (pork, chicken and beef) is buried beneath puddings and trimmings. I should have taken a better photo but half a second after this one was taken I demolished the meal.

I like Morrissey but I don’t know if the book fits neatly next to other such Penguin Classics as Animal Farm or Ulysses. It is pretty funny though.

      • Please don’t let my comment cast any aspersions on your photographic talent; if the meat was already on the plate, I’m amazed you had the will power to take the photo you did!

I always thought that at least one reprint would be needed in order to categorise a book as a Classic…but it won’t keep me up at night.

And good luck with the rewrite and the nonowrimo thing.
