100 Word Doctor Who Review: The Second Doctor

The Second Doctor definitely set the template for some of the later Doctors. He is absent-minded, intelligent, unhinged, angry, silly, and cunning. He dresses in over-sized clothes and looks clownish and unassuming. I preferred his stories to the First Doctor’s even though the writers fell back upon base under siege stories a lot of the time. I think a big part of this was how much I liked the two companions, Jamie and Zoe, who added some extra brains and brawn to proceedings. The best episode of this run was The Enemy of the World, a fantastically weird spy story.
